Climate and Planetary Details
According to texts recovered in the ruins of Greenleaf, Axyss is a comparatively small world with an ultra dense core. Its two moons are equal in size and are spaced evenly so that the ocean levels remain constant. The large percentage of water moderates temperatures so there are no true extremes. Temperatures in the tropics range from about 60 in winter to 90 in the summer and at the poles go from about 30 to 70 degrees. The planet has a minimal tilt to its axis, so the variety of seasons is minimal. Precipitation is ample and there are no true deserts to be found.
Planetary rotation takes approximately 24 hours and the planet takes three hundred days to travel around the sun. The standard calendar is divided into 10 thirty day months, with 3 months to a season.
